Radar New Energy Vehicle (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., commonly known asGeely Radar (Chinese:吉利雷达;pinyin:Jílì léidá) orRiddara outside China, is asubsidiary of Chinese vehicle manufacturerGeely Auto. The brand solely produceselectric vehicles.
Radar Auto is a brand focusing onelectric "lifestyle vehicles",[1] and as of 2024[update] offers one model, theRadar RD6 battery electricpickup truck. In the future, Radar will launch four new cars, including anSUV, a small pickup truck, a large SUV, and anall-terrain vehicle (ATV).[2]
The company has its own research and development (R&D) facility inHangzhou, Zhejiang and an electric vehicle production facility inZibo, Shandong, where it manufactures the RD6.[3][4]
In overseas markets, Radar Auto will be known asRiddara due totrademark resistance from Singaporean tyre companyOmni United, which has a brand called Radar Tires.[5]
