Racepinefrine (INNTooltip International Nonproprietary Name,USANTooltip United States Adopted Name), orracepinephrine, sold under the brand nameVaponefrin among others, is asympathomimeticmedication described as avasoconstrictor,bronchodilator,cardiostimulant,mydriatic, andantiglaucoma agent.[1][2][3][4][5] It is theracemic form ofepinephrine (adrenaline) and is also known asdl-epinephrine and (±)-epinephrine.[1][2][3] The drug is usedpharmaceutically as thehydrochloridesalt.[3][2] It has been marketed in theUnited States andCanada.[3]
