TheR755 road is aregional road inIreland. It runs for its entire length inCounty Wicklow. From the village ofKilmacanogue on theN11national primary road it goes north/south for 36 km (22 mi) to the town ofRathdrum.
From the N11 it goes west through theRocky Valley and then turns south and rises sharply at the foot of theSugar Loaf Mountain and crosses theCalary Bog to a junction with the eastern end of theSally Gap road (R759) 3 km (1.9 mi) north ofRoundwood village. It continues south through Roundwood and the hamlet ofAnnamoe toLaragh where it meets theMilitary Road and theWicklow Gap Road. From Laragh it follows theAvonmore River for 12 km (7.5 mi) through denseconifer forests andoak woods before terminating in the town of Rathdrum at a junction with theR752.
Like the other main regional roads in theWicklow Mountains, theR115,R759,R756,R752 andR747 this road passes through some wonderful scenery.
