Răucești is acommune inNeamț County,Western Moldavia,Romania. It is composed of four villages: Oglinzi, Răucești, Săvești, and Ungheni.
The commune is situated on theMoldavian Plateau, at an altitude of 325 m (1,066 ft), on the banks of theMoldova River and its right tributary, theRâșca. It is located in the northern part of the county, just north of the town ofTârgu Neamț and 45 km (28 mi) from the county seat,Piatra Neamț, on the border withSuceava County.
TheVânători-Neamț Natural Park is partly located on the administrative territory of the commune.
