Régis Wargnier (French:[ʁeʒisvaʁɲje]; born 18 April 1948) is a Frenchfilm director,film producer,screenwriter andfilm score composer. His 1986 filmThe Woman of My Life won theCésar Award for Best First Film at the12th César Awards.[1] His 1992 filmIndochine won theAcademy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the65th Academy Awards.[2] His 1995A French Woman was entered into the19th Moscow International Film Festival where he won the Silver St. George for the Direction.[3]
