Quintus Vibius Secundus

Roman senator and suffect consul in 86 AD

Quintus Vibius Secundus was aRomanSenator who was active during the reigns ofDomitian andTrajan. He wassuffect consul for thenundinium of March to April 86.[1]

A member of thegens Vibia, Secundus is considered to be the son of the influential PoliticianLucius Junius Quintus Vibius Crispus.[2] There is a possibility that Secundus could be related to suffect consulLucius Vibius Sabinus, father of the EmpressVibia Sabina.[3]

Only one office is known for Secundus: in 101/102 thesortition selected him asproconsular governor ofAsia.[4]
