Quiet Storm (born November 20, 1983) is an Americanprofessional wrestler, currently working as afreelancer and is best known for his time with the Japaneseprofessional wrestling promotionsKaientai Dojo andPro Wrestling Noah.[4]

Professional wrestling career

Independent circuit (2000–present)

After competing as an amateur beginning with 1998, Storm made hisprofessional wrestling debut in the year of 2000, and began working forCombat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where atCZW Take One, show from June 8, 2001, he teamed up with Chris Divine as Divine Storm and Brian XL, falling short toThe Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo,Jose Maximo andAmazing Red) in asix-man tag team match.[5] Storm also worked forRing Of Honor (ROH), taking part in theROH Night Of Appreciation on April 27, 2002, where he teamed up with Chris Divine to defeatChristian York andJoey Matthews.[6] While inMCW Pro Wrestling, Storm participated in a20-man stampede battle royal atMCW Tribute To The Legends from May 22, 2002, competing against other popular superstars such asAdam Flash,Julio Dinero,Gillberg andDanny Doring.[7] On January 21, 2006, Storm participated at an event promoted byNational Wrestling Alliance (NWA)'s satellite promotionNWA Cyberspace where he won abattle royal.[8] The most notable activity of his inJersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) was a7-man gauntlet match for theJAPW Light Heavyweight Championship which took place atJAPW Wild Card II on January 7, 2006, also involving the winnerTeddy Hart, Azrieal, Archadia, Grim Reefer, Javi-Air andMatt Cross.[9] He once activated in theLucha libre scene, competing atLucha Libre World Cup 2017, an event promoted byLucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) andLucha Underground on the second night from October 10, where he teamed up withCody Hall representingNoah, falling short toTeam Mexico AAA (Pagano andPsycho Clown).[10] He made an appearance forWrestle-1 (W-1) atW-1 WRESTLE-1 Tour 2017 Flashing Summer from August 28, where he teamed up withYuji Hino and foughtDaisuke Sekimoto andManabu Soya in atime-limit draw.[11]

Storm participated inNew Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)'sLion's Gate Project, making his first appearance on thefirst edition of the event from February 25, 2016, where he fell short toManabu Nakanishi.[12] He also competed in thesecond project from May 19, where he teamed up with fellowNoah wrestlersKatsuhiko Nakajima,Masa Kitamiya andMaybach Taniguchi in a losing effort toNJPW'sHiroyoshi Tenzan,Manabu Nakanishi,Satoshi Kojima andYuji Nagata.[13] He marked his last appearance atLion's Gate Project 3, where he picked up a win againstHenare.[14]

Pro Wrestling Noah (2014–2020)

Storm made his first appearance inPro Wrestling Noah (Noah) on the second night ifNOAH One Day Cruise from May 4, 2014, where he participated in a10-man battle royale competing againstSuper Crazy,Takeshi Morishima,Zack Sabre Jr. and others.[15] He continued to make sporadic appearances for thepromotion such as atNOAH Navigation With Breeze 2014 on May 31, where he unsuccessfully challengedDaisuke Harada for theGHC Junior Heavyweight Championship.[16] Storm marked notable work in theGlobal Junior Heavyweight Tag League, making his first appearance on the2014 edition of the event, where he teamed up withDaisuke Harada, placing themselves in the Block B accumulating a total of six points leading the block, but fell short to Cho Kibou-Gun (Hajime Ohara andKenoh) in the finals.[17] Another notable tournament of the promotion in which Storm took place was theNoah Global League, making his first appearance on the2014 edition, placing himself in the Block B, scoring a total of two points after going againstTakashi Sugiura,Chris Hero,Yuji Nagata,Masato Tanaka,Maybach Taniguchi,Muhammad Yone andMikey Nicholls.[18] He scored his best performance at the2016 edition, where he obtained eight points after competing againstMinoru Suzuki,Toru Yano,Katsuhiko Nakajima,Lance Archer,Maybach Taniguchi,Akitoshi Saito andTakashi Iizuka.[19] He also activated in the2017 edition where he faced other new foes such asKazma Sakamoto finishing with six points,[20] and in2018 edition, where he scored another six points and newly facedMasa Kitamiya andMitsuya Nagai.[21]
