She first found success onVine as a teenager in the mid-2010s with comedic videos before shifting to other social media platforms such asYouTube,Twitter, andTikTok. As of 2025[update], she hosts the YouTube interview seriesFeeding Starving Celebrities.
Quenlin Blackwell was born on January 17, 2001 inDallas,Texas.[4][5] She was raised in a predominantly white suburb ofDallas after she moved fromCincinnati, where the rest of her family is from, when she was about three years old. She has described the move as "traumatic" and her upbringing in Texas as alienating, stating that she had to "constantly convince" her friends at the time "why [she] deserved their consideration".[6] As a child, her father was in prison.[7] She started aYouTube channel when she was eight years old and began posting videos online at age nine.[8][9] She also participated in cheerleading.[6] She attendedAllen High School inAllen, Texas.[10]
In 2015, when she was 14 years old, Blackwell started posting comedic videos on the video sharing platformVine, where she gained over 500 thousand followers in the mid-2010s.[11][12] Her online presence first began to gain traction when she posted a video of herself falling while performing a cheerleading stunt, which received more than five million views in one day.[9][13] Many of her other Vine videos involved similarphysical comedy, including her falling off of ahoverboard and strumming a guitar with her hair; she retrospectively described it as "freak content".[6] When Blackwell was 17 years old, she moved toLos Angeles,California.[14]
Following the shutdown of Vine, she became popular onTwitter and YouTube.[4] A screenshot from a 2018 Twitter video of Blackwell screaming, paired side-by-side with a photo of reality television personalityMs. Juicy staring blankly ahead, became a popularmeme on Twitter in May 2019 to depict users trying to explain things to their mothers.[15][16] She began postingvlog–style videos onTikTok in 2019. A video on the platform of her crying over accidentally purchasing a couch for $100 thousand and asking for donations went viral in October 2022 before she soon revealed that it was a prank, which received backlash online.[17]
By 2023, she had more than eight million followers on TikTok and more than one million subscribers on YouTube.[18] Blackwell starred in the music video forSG Lewis andLucky Daye's song "Feed the Fire" in November 2020.[19] In February 2021, Blackwell signed withUnited Talent Agency.[18] Also in 2021, she was nominated as Breakout Creator at the11th Streamy Awards and participated in theYouTube Originals reality competition seriesNo. 1 Chicken, hosted by YouTuberFaZe Rug.[20][21] She was one of the hosts of YouTube'sCoachella livestream in April 2022 and modeled for the lingerie brandSavage X Fenty's December 2022 campaign.[22][23] She launched the clothing brand Riquera in December 2023.[2]
In March 2024, she made her runway debut walking forOff-White duringParis Fashion Week.[24] She appeared alongside other Internet personalities in the music video for "360" by British singerCharli XCX in May 2024.[25] Blackwell was featured as an onstage guest during Charli XCX's performance of her songs "Von Dutch" and "Guess" at the67th Annual Grammy Awards.[26] She signed withCreative Artists Agency in October 2024, by which point she had amassed more than ten million followers on TikTok and more than two million onInstagram.[27]
As of 2025[update], she hosts the YouTube seriesFeeding Starving Celebrities, which features her cooking for colleagues and friends such asLil Nas X,[28]Lil Yachty,[29]PinkPantheress,[3]Addison Rae,[30] and theSturniolo Triplets.[31] Throughout 2025, she modeled in advertising campaigns forGlossier,[32]Old Navy,[33]Chanel,[34]Charlotte Tilbury,[35] and the sunglasses brand Elisa Johnson.[36] In October 2025, she made her runway debut at theVictoria's Secret Fashion Show, which was received positively on social media.[37][38]
In 2024, she was cast as a guest star inRachel Sennott's then–untitledHBO seriesI Love LA, which is set to premiere in November 2025.[39][40]
In 2025, Blackwell was included onTime,The Hollywood Reporter, andRolling Stone's respective lists of the most influential content creators online.[41][3][42] ForInStyle, Moises Mendez II wrote that Blackwell had "cement[ed] herself among the internet'sit girls" by 2025.[43]
Blackwell may haveasthma.[44] She has also stated that she suffered from anorexia, which, according to her, worsened in 2018 after she received hate online for an unintelligible tweet about her parents' skincare brand.[45] She is a Christian, stating that God "was implemented in my entire family structure" in Texas.[8] In May 2024, Quenlin's older brother Jairyn Blackwell was killed in a homicide shooting.[46] He was 30 years old.[47] In 2019, Blackwell came out as bisexual in atweet.[24] A video of her kissing singerBillie Eilish atCoachella in 2024 also gained attention on social media.[48]
In October 2020, a then-19-year-old Blackwell and the then-41-year-old American record producerDiplo posted videos about living with one another, which fans online decried as Diplogrooming Blackwell, though both denied that they had a relationship beyond being friends.[49] Diplo clarified that Blackwell was renting a property from him and that there was no romantic relationship between the pair.[50]
