Quellendorf (German pronunciation:[ˈkvɛlənˌdɔʁf]) is a village and a former municipality in the district ofAnhalt-Bitterfeld, inSaxony-Anhalt,Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the townSüdliches Anhalt.[1]
In the 19th century the estate was the property of General CountHenckel von Donnersmarck who sold it to Field Marshal CountLeonhardt von Blumenthal after theFranco-Prussian War. The Field Marshal later transferred ownership to his son-in-law, Rudolf von Oettinger.[citation needed]
