Qminas (Arabic:قميناس also spelledQaminas orKominas orQmenas) is a village in northwesternSyria, administratively part of theIdlib Governorate, located 6 kilometers (3.7 mi) southeast ofIdlib. Nearby localities includeSarmin to the northeast andSaraqib to the east.[1] According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Qminas had a population of 2,722 in the 2004 census.[2]
