Qishan County is acounty in westernGuanzhong,Shaanxi Province,China, under the administration of theprefecture-level city ofBaoji.
Fengchu Township on theWei River near Mount Qi in Qishan County was the site of the capital of theancient state ofZhou under theShangdynasty, which served as the capital of thepredynastic Zhou untilJi Chang moved his court east toFengjingc. 1051 BC. This capital was variously known as Qishan ("Mount Qi"),Qiyi ("Qi City"), andZhouyuan ("Zhou Plains").[1][2] Many Zhou-era artifacts have been found here. These are now housed in a museum on the site.
As of 2020[update], Qishan County is divided to 9 towns.[3]
