PussyCake (Spanish:Emesis – El amor Mata,lit.'Emesis – Love Kills'),[1] also spelledPussy Cake, is a 2021 Argentinehorror film directed byPablo Parés. The film follows an all-femalerock band who arrives at the first stop on a tour to find the town deserted, and their lives threatened.[2]

PussyCake premiered at theBuenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS) film festival on 11 December 2021.[1] It is scheduled to be released onvideo-on-demand (VOD) andCinedigm's horrorstreaming service Screambox in 2022.[3]

The film's special effects were designed by Simon Ratziel and Marcos Berta.[4] Loly Boer served as the film'scostume designer.[4]

PussyCake premiered at theBuenos Aires Rojo Sangre (BARS) film festival on 11 December 2021,[1] where it received the Audience Award for Best Feature.[3] In April 2022, it screened atNight Visions in Finland.[3] It is scheduled to be shown at theSitges Film Festival in Spain in October 2022.[2][5]

In February 2022, the worldwide distribution rights to the film were acquired byRaven Banner Entertainment.[6]Cinedigm then acquired the North American rights to the film.[3] The film is set to be released on suchvideo-on-demand (VOD) platforms asApple,Amazon Prime Video,Google,Vudu, andXbox, as well as Cinedigm's horrorstreaming service Screambox in 2022.[3]
