Thepurple-tailed imperial pigeon (Ducula rufigaster) is a species ofbird in the familyColumbidae. It is found inNew Guinea. Its naturalhabitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowlandforests. It is sometimes affected by Gunabopicobia parasites.[2]
