Purasaiwalkam taluk is ataluk of the city district ofChennai in theIndian state ofTamil Nadu. It was formed in December 2013 from parts of the erstwhile Fort-Tondiarpet and Perambur-Purasawalkam taluks.[1] It comprises the neighbourhoods ofPurasawalkam,Vepery andPeriamet.
