Ancient town that existed in present-day Turkey

Ptolemais (Ancient Greek:Πτολεμαΐς) was a coastal town ofancient Pamphylia or ofCilicia, inhabited duringHellenistic times.[1] It was located between theMelas River andCoracesium.[2]

Its site is located nearFığla Burnu, inAsiatic Turkey.[1][3]
