Binary star in the constellation Aquarius
Psi3 Aquarii ,Latinized from ψ3 Aquarii, is theBayer designation for a visualbinary star [ 9] constellation ofAquarius . It has anapparent visual magnitude of 4.98,[ 2] Parallax measurements give a distance estimate of roughly 262light-years (80parsecs ).[ 1]
The main component of this system is anA-type main sequence star with astellar classification of A0 V.[ 3] arcseconds from the primary.[ 10] X-ray source with a luminosity of8.34 × 1029 erg s−1 . This radiation most likely comes from the companion star.[ 9]
