Psathoura (Greek:Ψαθούραpronounced[psaˈθura]) is aGreekisland in the NorthernSporades.[1] It is administratively a part ofAlonnisos. As of 2011[update], it had no resident population.[2] The Psathoura lighthouse, built in 1895, stands at 28.9 metres. It is one of the tallest in the Aegean. Its signal is a flash of one second every ten seconds.[3] All of Psathoura is in Zone A2 of theAlonnisos Marine Park.
Its nearest islands and islets arePelagos to the southwest,Gioura to the south andPiperi to the southeast.
