Prongji is a village of southwesternAlbania, located to the northwest of the city ofGjirokastër. The village is in the administrativeGjirokastër County and part ofLabëria region. It is part of the former municipalityCepo. At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipalityGjirokastër.[1] The village is inhabited byMuslimAlbanians and anOrthodox Albanian population.[2] The village is situated among the mountains of Mali i Gjere and Lenik on a small tableland.
