Probus of Byzantium (Greek: Πρόβος; died 306) wasbishop of Byzantium from 293 to 306.[1] Probus was the son ofDometius of Byzantium, brother ofRoman emperorProbus, who was the predecessor of his predecessorRufinus of Byzantium. Probus was the brother ofMetrophanes of Byzantium, who was his successor.[2]
