Prince Edward is an area ofMong Kok south ofTong Mi surroundingPrince Edward station inKowloon,Hong Kong. Named afterPrince Edward Road West, the Prince Edward station of theMTRrapid transit system is aninterchange station on theTsuen Wan and theKwun Tong lines.
Prince Edward is located in the northern part ofMong Kok on either side ofNathan Road, administratively under theYau Tsim Mong District (until the mid-1990s part of theMong Kok District). Prince Edward contains the northern end ofNathan Road. Prince Edward is shown on Google Maps as bounded by:
The area is served by thePrince Edward Station of theMTRrapid transit system on both theTsuen Wan line and theKwun Tong line. Access toMong Kok East station includes an entrance via the MOKO shopping centre on Prince Edward Road West.
Mong Kok Police Station is on Prince Edward Road West. The police station is adjacent to Prince Edward MTR station exit B1.[2]
Mong Kok Stadium (Chinese:旺角大球場) is a sports venue with capacity of 6,769. It hosts Hong Kong Premier League football matches, with Southern and Kitchee currently ground-sharing the venue as their home ground. The stadium is run by theLeisure and Cultural Services Department of Hong Kong.
