This article lists theheads of government ofSudan since the establishment of the office of Chief Minister of theAnglo-Egyptian Sudan in 1952.

The office of prime minister was abolished after the1989 coup d'état,[1] and reestablished in 2017 as deputy head of government whenBakri Hassan Saleh was appointed prime minister byPresidentOmar al-Bashir.[2]

The current prime minister isKamil Idris. He was appointed by theTransitional Sovereignty Council on 31 May 2025.[3][4]
