Prenoxdiazine (marketed asLibexin) is acough suppressant.[1] It acts peripherally by desensitizing thepulmonary stretch receptors. Therefore, there's a reduction of cough impulses originating in the lungs. Prenoxdiazine is indicated in cough of bronchial origin.
