ThePremier League Young Player of the Season is an annual Englishfootball award, presented to the best player aged 23 or younger in thePremier League. For sponsorship purposes, it is known as theHublot Young Player of the Season since the2020–21 season,[1] after being known asTAG Heuer Young Player of the Season right after its inception during the2019–20 season.[2]
Trent Alexander-Arnold ofLiverpool was the first winner of the award.[3]Manchester City playerPhil Foden has won the most awards with two.[4] In 2024,Chelsea midfielderCole Palmer became the first player to receive the award while not winning the league.[5] The current holder of the award isLiverpool midfielderRyan Gravenberch.[6]
