Predrag Šarić "Šiši" (born November 20, 1959) is a Croatian former professionalbasketball player. In his career, he played forŠibenka,Zadar, andTriglav Osiguranje Rijeka. He also played for theYugoslavia national team six times.[1]
Šarić, in his pro career, played forŠibenka in the 1980s withDražen Petrović,[2] becomingYugoslav First League runner-up in1983. He also played two times in theKorać Cup final games againstLimoges, which beat them both times.[2] Later, Šarić played forZadar andTriglav Osiguranje Rijeka, where he had played with famous Yugoslav players,Danko Cvjetičanin from Croatia, and Mario Primorac from Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1]
Šarić was born inŠibenik. Predrag married former professional basketball playerVeselinka Crvak, who played with the Yugoslav champions,Elemes Šibenik.[2] Their children, a sonDario and daughter Dana, are professional basketball players. Dario plays for theGolden State Warriors of theNational Basketball Association (NBA), and Dana plays for CroatianŽKK Šibenik.[2]
