Posey Field (FAALID:1M4) is a city-owned public-useairport located threenautical miles (4mi, 6km) northeast of thecentral business district ofHaleyville, a city inWinston County,Alabama,United States.[1]
This airport is included in the FAA'sNational Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015[2] and 2009–2013,[3] both of whichcategorized it as ageneral aviation facility.
Posey Field covers an area of 120acres (49ha) at anelevation of 930 feet (283 m) abovemean sea level. It has onerunway designated 18/36 with anasphalt surface measuring 5,008 by 100 feet (1,526 x 30 m).[1]
