Population II is aCanadian psychedelic rock band fromMontreal,Quebec,[1] whose 2023 albumÉlectrons libre du Québec was a longlisted nominee for the2024 Polaris Music Prize.[2]

The band consists of singer and drummer Pierre-Luc Gratton, guitarist and keyboardist Tristan Lacombe, and bassist Sébastien Provençal.[3] After releasing several two-song singles in the late 2010s, they released their full-length debut albumÀ la Ô Terre onCastle Face Records in 2020.[4]

Their 2025 albumMaintenant Jamais was shortlisted for the2025 Polaris Music Prize.[5]
