ThePopular Social Party (Greek: Λαϊκό Κοινωνικό Κόμμα) was aGreekpolitical party that formed after a split from thePeople's Party. It was founded in January 1956 byStefanos Stefanopoulos.
The Popular Social Party participated in theelections of 1956 but failed to enter the parliament. In theelections of 1958 it participated with otherright-wing parties in theUnion of Populars and elected two MPs.
Its main political program, as it was claimed, was social and economic justice. The party suggested social reforms and a new organization of the Greek economy.
