The ground hosted twofirst-class matches[1] in 1892 whenEuropeans cricket team played againstParsees cricket team.[2] The ground also hosted1939/40 Ranji Trophy Final whenMaharashtra cricket team played againstUnited Provinces cricket team.[3] Since then the stadium has hosted non-first-class matches.[4]
