Pony Express Region

Region in northwest Missouri, U.S.

ThePony Express Region is an area in northwesternMissouri. It takes its name from thePony Express mail service based inSaint Joseph, Missouri. The Pony Express name is historically linked to St Joseph. It is often used to define the city or theSt Joseph Metropolitan Area[1][2] The term is often used for a wider area of northwestern Missouri between Kansas City and Iowa.[3][4][5] Pony Express Lake, a Missouri Department of Conservation lake, is located east of St Joseph towardsInterstate 35.[6]
