ThePomeranchuk Prize is an internationalaward fortheoretical physics, awarded annually since 1998 by theInstitute for Theoretical and Experimental Physics (ITEP) fromMoscow.[1] It is named after Russian physicistIsaak Yakovlevich Pomeranchuk, who together withLandau established the Theoretical Physics Department of the Institute.
