Town in ancient Aeolis

Polymedium orPolymedion (Ancient Greek:Πολυμήδειον), also known asPalamedium orPolymedia,[1] was a small town in ancientAeolis, between the promontoryLectum andAssus, and at a distance of 40stadia from the former.[2]

Its site is located nearAsarlık,Asiatic Turkey.[3][4]
