Poe is a crater onMercury. It has diameter about 77 km and is situated in northern part ofCaloris Planitia.[1]
Hollows are scattered across Poe crater, and are abundant on the southern rim.[2]

Poe is named after the famous authorEdgar Allan Poe. TheIAU named this crater in 2011 in honor of thePoe Toaster who put a bottle of cognac and roses at the grave of Poe.[2]
