InGreek mythology,Podes (Ancient Greek:Ποδής,romanized: Podēs) was the son ofEetion, and thus the brother ofAndromache, the wife ofHector, whom he is said to have befriended.[1]
Podes fought on the side of theTrojans in theTrojan War, and was killed byMenelaus. However, in Book 6 of theIliad, Andromache claims that her seven brothers have been killed byAchilles. This contradiction is not resolved.
