Podensac (French pronunciation:[pɔdɛ̃sak];Gascon:Podençac) is acommune in theGirondedepartment. It is located in the famousBordeauxwine region inNouvelle-Aquitaine (southwesternFrance).
Podensac is located within theGravesvineyards, on the left bank of theGaronne river, 30 km (19 mi) southeast fromBordeaux and 15 km (9 mi) northwest fromLangon.Podensac station has rail connections to Langon and Bordeaux.
