Plantersville is a city inGrimes County,Texas, United States. It was incorporated as a city on May 15, 2017. It is located at the junction ofTexas State Highway 105,Farm to Market Road 1774, and theAtchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway in the southeastern part of the county. It is adjacent to the city ofTodd Mission. As of the2020 census, its population was 464.

Public education in the Plantersville area is provided by theNavasota Independent School District.[4]Navasota High School is its comprehensive high school.
Since 1974, Plantersville has been home to theTexas Renaissance Festival, an annual event that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. Over 644,000 visitors were recorded in 2017.[5]
