Piseco Lake is located inHamilton County, New York, near the hamlet ofPiseco in theAdirondack Mountains. The outflow isPiseco Outlet, which flows into theWest Branch Sacandaga River.[2]In the early 1800s Joshua Brown, who was a surveyor in the area, named the lake after a Native American named "Pezeeko" who lived on the lake.[3]
