Pisces B (Psc B) is avoiddwarfgalaxy. It is located in theLocal Void, nearPisces A; and is in thePisces constellation. It is 30 millionlight-years (9.2megaparsecs) away from the Earth.[2] The galaxy was discovered with theWIYN Observatory. About 100 million years ago, the galaxy started moving out of thevoid and into the localfilament zone and denser gaseous environment. This sparked off a doubling of the rate of star formation.[3]
