Pintópolis is amunicipality in the north of thestate ofMinas Gerais inBrazil. As of 2020 the population was 7,524 inhabitants in an area of 1,228.736 km2.[1]
It is 45 km fromSão Francisco and 78 km fromUrucuia, which are the closest municipalities to Pintópolis. Its income is mainly concentrated in the extraction of charcoal, agriculture and livestock of dairy and beef cattle. The central point of the city is 480 meters above sea level.
