Piney Branch Road station is an under-constructionlight rail station inSilver Spring, Maryland, that will be served by thePurple Line. The station will have anisland platform in the median ofUniversity Boulevard just south ofPiney Branch Road.[2][3] As of 2022[update], the Purple Line is planned to open in 2027.[1]
