Pinelands railway station is aMetrorail station situated on the western edge ofPinelands, a suburb ofCape Town, South Africa.^[1][2]

It is served by trains on theCape Flats Line and theCentral Line. Cape Flats Line trains travel from Cape Town through Pinelands andAthlone toRetreat. Central Line trains travel from Cape Town through Pinelands andLanga toMitchell's Plain,Khayelitsha andBellville.

The station has four tracks accessible through twoisland platforms. The station building is elevated above the tracks and platforms. A parking lot is situated on the eastern side of the tracks.

In 2020, the body of a dead teenager was found near the station next to the tracks.^[3]
