Pieve Ligure (Ligurian:A Ceive, locallyA Céie) is acomune (municipality) in theMetropolitan City of Genoa in theItalian regionLiguria, located about 13 kilometres (8 mi) southeast ofGenoa.
Thepieve of St. Michael Archangel, from which the town takes its name, has been rebuilt in Baroque style in the 18th century and houses works byPerin del Vaga eLuigi Morgari. The other main church is the Oratory of St. Anthony Abbot (early 15th century). TheCastello Cirla originated as a medievalSaracen tower, although it was turned into a private residence in 1909.
