Pieup (character:;Korean:피읖,romanizedpieup) is aconsonant of the Koreanhangul alphabet. It is pronouncedaspirated, as[pʰ] at the beginning of a syllable and as[p] at the end of a syllable. For example: aspirated in 프랑스peurangseu ("France"), but unaspirated in 앞ap ("front").[1][2][3]
