Piedade do Rio Grande is a Brazilian municipality located in the state ofMinas Gerais. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Campo das Vertentes and to the microregion of Sao Joao del Rei. In 2020, the estimated population was 4,466.[3]
According toIBGE (2017), the municipality belongs to theImmediate Geographic Region of São João del-Rei, in theIntermediate Geographic Region of Barbacena.[4]
The municipality is part of theRoman Catholic Diocese of São João del-Rei.[5]
