Pibrac (French pronunciation:[pibʁak]) is acommune in theHaute-Garonnedepartment in southwesternFrance, located 15 km (9.3 mi) west ofToulouse.
It has recently grown thanks to the development of the aeroplane industry in the nearby town ofBlagnac.
The inhabitants of the commune are known asPibracaises andPibracais in French.

Pibrac has apatinodrome, a track forinline speed skating, as well as many other sporting facilities.
It was the birthplace ofSaint Germaine Cousin.
TheChâteau de Pibrac is a converted 16th centurycastle which is listed as a historic site by theFrench Ministry of Culture.[5]
