Phillip Ensler is an American politician who has served as a member of theAlabama House of Representatives since 2022. He represents Alabama's 74th House district. He is a member of theDemocratic Party.
He was elected on November 8, 2022, in the2022 Alabama House of Representatives election againstRepublican opponent Charlotte Meadows. He assumed office the next day on November 9, 2022.
Ensler earned aJuris Doctor degree fromYeshiva University in 2017.[2] He also earned aBachelor of Arts in political science fromGeorge Washington University in 2012.[3] He has taught social studies atLee High School. Ensler isJewish.[4] He is the executive director of theJewish Federation of Central Alabama and used to be an aide toSteven Reed.[5]
