Philip Wilkinson (born 1955) is the author ofnon-fiction books forchildren andadults. He was educated atCorpus Christi College,Oxford. He worked as an editor prior to becoming an author.

He specialises in works onhistory,the arts,religion, andarchitecture and has written over forty titles.[1] Wilkinson wrote an important work onthe Romans. He now lives in Gloucestershire.
