ThePhilip Twells Memorial Fountain is a memorial and drinking fountain located at the south-east corner ofLincoln's Inn Fields inLondon. It isGrade II listed byEnglish Heritage.[1]
The fountain was built to commemoratePhilip Twells, who was anMember of Parliament for the City of London as well as a barrister for the nearbyLincoln's Inn.[2] The fountain was erected in 1880 after Twells' death, commissioned by his wife, its design rendered in granite.[3]
