Philip Ellis (born 9 October 1992) is aSwiss-British-German racing driver. He is currently competing forHTP Motorsport in theIMSA SportsCar Championship, having previously competed in theDTM for the same team.
In 2011, Ellis won theFormula Lista Junior, a championship grouping togetherFormula BMWs, with theGU-Racing team. In 2012, he took part in the2012 Formula 3 Euro Series as well as the2012 FIA Formula 3 European Championship, still with GU Racing, he was aiming for the place of best beginner. In2017, he won theAudi Sport TT Cup. The series was cancelled in 2018, thus making Ellis the final TT Cup champion.[2][3]
Ellis competed in the2021 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters alongsideLucas Auer. He drove forHTP Winward Motorsport.[4] He returned to theGT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for a full season campaign in 2023, joiningIndy Dontje andRussell Ward in the Gold Cup class.[5]
