Phenestrol, orfenestrol, also known ashexestrol bis[4-[bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]phenylacetate, is asynthetic,nonsteroidal estrogen andcytostaticantineoplastic agent (i.e.,chemotherapy drug) and achlorphenacylnitrogen mustardester ofhexestrol which was developed in the early 1960s for the treatment ofhormone-dependenttumors but was never marketed.[1][2][3][4]
