Phat khing (Thai:ผัดขิง,pronounced[pʰàtkʰǐŋ];Lao:ຜັດຂີງ) is a Thai dish,[1] that is popular inThailand andLaos.
Kai phat khing (ไก่ผัดขิง) containsstir-fried chicken and different vegetables likemushrooms andpeppers, but other meats may be used. The defining ingredient is slicedginger ("khing") which gives the dish a very characteristic taste. Other important ingredients in this dish aresoy sauce andonion. It is served with rice. In both countries chickengizzards are sometimes (partially) substituted for chicken.
